A-Mark Prize for Investigative Reporting

The Iowa Newspaper Foundation (INF) is partnering with the A-Mark Foundation to present the A-Mark Prize for Investigative Reporting with $15,000 in prize money. The A-Mark Prize will be awarded in February 2026, as part of the INF’s annual awards.

High School Court Reporting Contest

The Iowa Mock Trial Courtroom Journalist Competition invites students to exercise their writing and journalistic abilities by playing the role of a courtroom reporter. Students will observe Iowa High School Mock Trial events and write an objective and informative written piece.

Iowa Newspaper Foundation Awards Nine Scholarships

Nine Iowa students have been selected as recipients of Iowa Newspaper Foundation scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. The scholarships are awarded to students preparing for careers in journalism
